The Smoked Turkey!

Hi! Sorry it has been so long. I have been caught up in homework. Anyway, on with the cooking!
A couple of nights ago for dinner we had half a turkey breast. Half a smoked turkey breast that is!
We built our own smoker to smoke food in from scratch. Our smoker was built of plywood and screws (don't worry they weren't in the food, or touching it for that matter). A smoker is a box of wood used to smoke food very slowly with wood chips. Here are some photographs:

While Dad was cooking I was watching tv (don't tell anyone!). Although I was watching tv, I had great fun watching Dad running in and out of rain showers. Ha Ha Ha! (don't tell Dad I said that!). So all in all the day turned out great. I had a great dinner (no one got food-poisoning - that was good!) But most of all... I had fun with my family. That is all for now. Type you later!

Hello World!

Hi!
My name is Alice and welcome to my blog World in the Key of A!
My blog is about a lot of different things like cooking and spinning, but most of all it will be about the piano.

I took the exam in 2012 for Grade 4 in piano with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. I will show you the 3 pieces from the syllabus that I chose:

Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin
Menuetto in D by A.E. Muller
Sonatina by Carl Reinecke.

I am also learning Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.

Next time I will post a video of my first piece, Maple Leaf Rag.

See you soon!
